Bye Bye Brisbane

Finally escaped Manly about 1100 and caught the runout tide up to Scarborough. Windana also seemed keen to get going and sailed beautifully. We only went as far as Scarborough because we wanted to catch up with my aunt and uncle, who live at Donnybrook (opp Bribie Island). Ended up tying up at the Moreton Bay Boat Club pontoon for $40 a night. No power or water, but much cheaper than the actual marina at $75 a night. Enjoyed a quiet drink sitting in the boat club balcony, overlooking Windana, and waiting for our visitors. Had a lovely evening together and managed to lighten Windana by giving an assortment of tools and our industrial vacuum cleaner to my uncle, who does beautiful woodwork, so could make good use of them.
